Queensland Health reported six new cases on COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the State total to 1024.
Of these, 738 people have recovered.
There are 280 active cases: 21 patients are in hospital, including seven in intensive care units. The remainder of the active cases are recovering at home in quarantine.
Contact tracing is under way for the six new cases.
Queensland Health said a total of 87,470 people had been tested for COVID-19 so far in Queensland.
Darling Downs Health again reported no new cases.
The 15 active cases in the Darling Downs Health region are all in Toowoomba.
At 6:00pm on Tuesday, 6645 confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Australia, including 71 deaths.
