We know it’s April Fools Day but this story is true …
During routine patrols recently Kingaroy Police came across a local resident taking his beloved pets for a walk.
Or were they just a necessary accessory in these days of COVID-19?
Wearing a couple of these fellows is definitely a good way to ensure you’re maintaining good social distancing!
Kingaroy’s own “Crocodile Dundee”, Det Paul Jones from the Rural Crime Squad, checked to make sure everything was okay.
There was a minor hiccup when one of the “pets” escaped but it was located a short time later, safe and well.
