Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man they wish to speak to after the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man last week.
Michael Zanco was shot in the head at a Frayne Road property in Amamoor on Thursday evening.
He died in hospital on Friday night.
Detectives have identified a person of interest: Nathan Paul Caulfield, 32, is described as Caucasian and about 180cm tall.
He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and long tracksuit pants.
Detectives believe he may be armed and was last seen travelling in a silver Ford Falcon utility with the registration 268-ZOW.
The vehicle was last seen in the Monkland area on Monday morning.
Anyone who may have dashcam vision from Thursday night between 5:00-8:00pm on the Mary Valley Road between Amamoor and Gympie is urged to contact police.
Anyone who sees the man or the vehicle pictured is asked not to approach him, but contact police immediately.
