Kingaroy Men’s Shed president Eric Ford

Kingaroy Men’s Shed will be hosting a special “Camp Oven Under The Stars” on Saturday afternoon (March 14) as a fundraiser for the LifeFlight Foundation.

The afternoon and evening of food and fun will be held from 3:00pm until late at the Men’s Shed in Geoff Raph Drive, near Kingaroy Airport.

There’ll be a camp oven dinner, pig-on-the-spit plus live entertainment from the Sempf Family and school bands, whip cracking and a rock’n’roll dancing demonstration.

There’ll also be a mechanical bull and jumping castle for the children.

Costs is $25 for adults and $10 for children (aged 14 and under). Seniors are $20.

Kingaroy Men’s Shed president Eric Ford said the event would be going ahead come rain, hail or shine as there was a wet weather location, if required.

Tickets are available from Kingaroy Office Central on Haly Street, Kingaroy.

The day will also include the official opening of the Kingaroy Men’s Shed’s new toilet block, near their workshop, by Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington.
