The water supply to parts of Kingaroy will be interrupted on Tuesday and Wednesday (January 21-22) to allow the South Burnett Regional Council to do routine maintenance.
Alford and Burnett streets and areas nearby will be affected.
A Council spokesperson said that on Tuesday, residents may experience intermittent loss of water supply (low or no water pressure) between about 8:00am and 9:00am, although unexpected circumstances may alter these times.
On Wednesday, residents will lose water supply between 8:00am and 1:00pm.
Council has advised residents to take appropriate action, including turning off hot water systems and storing water.
Toilets can be flushed with a bucket.
If the water is discoloured after the maintenance, residents should flush the plumbing by running inside and outside taps.
They should also avoid using washing machines or dishwashers while the water is discoloured.
Interruption to water supply notices have been issued to all affected customers.
