A cow has been blamed for a collision involving two vehicles – one pulling a caravan – on the Burnett Highway on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to the incident at 7:49pm, near Tansey.
A 4WD pulling a caravan struck the beast, which was then pushed into the path of a vehicle heading in the opposite direction.
A passenger in this second vehicle – a woman aged in her 30s – was treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene and transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with chest pain.
