Kingaroy police have two more community outreach events happening next week … another of their popular “Coffee With a Cop” sessions and a free “Under The Bonnet” workshop.

The “Under The Bonnet” night is aimed at learners and new drivers (both men and women).

It will be held from 5:30pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 10, at the Bill Hull Car Centre at the corner of Kingaroy and Avoca streets.

There’ll be information about personal safety, road safety and basic maintenance skills, eg. checking the oil and changing a tyre.

Numbers are limited.

To book a spot, phone the Bill Hull Car Centre on (07) 4162-2833 or send an email

Canapes and cold drinks will be provided on the night.
