A motorbike rider aged in his 50s was critically injured when his bike and a vehicle collided just north of Woolooga on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred a short distance from the intersection of Bauple-Woolooga Road and Miva Road and was reported to emergency services at 6:46am.
QAS paramedics treated the man at the scene for serious chest, leg and arm injuries.
A medevac helicopter was called and landed about a kilometre away.
The injured man was flown in a critical condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
