QFES advised on Saturday afternoon that the Monsildale bushfire, north-east of Linville, is still burning within containment lines.

The bushfire is burning west of Monsildale Road, between Louisavale Road and Tableland Road.
The fire is contained and crews will continue to strengthen containment lines.

The bushfire is burning west of Monsildale Road, between Louisavale Road and Tableland Road.
The fire is currently burning within containment lines.
Crews will continue to strengthen containment lines and monitor the blaze.
People in the area will be affected by smoke, which will reduce visibility and air quality. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and to conditions.

Firefighters have contained a bushfire burning to the east and west of Monsildale Road, near Louisavale Road, Browns Creek Road and Tableland Road.
QFES crews are working with the National Parks and Wildlife Service as well as HQ Plantations to extinguish the remaining fire and make the area safe.

The bushfire is travelling from the corner of Louisavale Road and Monsildale Road, adjacent to the Jimna State Forest, in westerly, southerly and easterly directions.
Multiple crews are currently on scene working to contain the blaze and establishing fire breaks using heavy machinery.
Waterbombing operations are also underway.
People in the area will be affected by smoke, which will reduce visibility and air quality.

On Friday . . .
Firefighters have issued an Advice warning for a bushfire burning at Monsildale, north-east of Linville.
At 1:10pm on Friday, QFES advised residents they needed to keep up-to-date and decide what actions they will take if the situation changes.
The bushfire was travelling from the corner of Louisavale Road and Monsildale Road, adjacent to the Jimna State Forest, in westerly, southerly and easterly directions.
Multiple fire crews were working to contain the blaze.
The fire was reported to emergency services at 5:14pm on Thursday.
At 1:30pm on Friday, eight fire crews were at the scene with another six on the way.
The QFES said properties were not under direct threat but people should call Triple Zero (000) immediately if they believed they or their property was under threat.
QFES said a vegetation fire was also burning near Kilcoy-Murgon Road and Monsildale Road near Jimna.
At 11:30am on Friday, HQ Plantations crews were on scene monitoring the fire.
This fire was also posing no threat to property at this time.
