The Burnett Catchment Care Association is asking local landholders to complete a short survey about information gaps in the Inland Burnett.
The survey aims to identify the type of information landholders are currently accessing and what information they would like to have available, specific to the Inland Burnett.
This will help to identify the gaps in resources available, how useful current resources are and also identify impediments landholders face in accessing resources.
The BCCA says the ultimate plan is to create a website with regionally specific information ranging from land types, soils, mapping, pests and weeds to natural disaster information and landholder funding.
The SMART Audit and Strategic Gap Analysis project has been funded by the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund.
