Police have charged a man with several drug offences after a search of a property in Durong last week.

Officers executed the search warrant at a home on McPhee Road last Wednesday where they allegedly located a hydroponic cannabis set-up with more than 20 cannabis plants.

They also allegedly located 10 cannabis plants in a paddock on the property.

A 57-year-old Durong man has been charged with producing and possessing dangerous drugs, possessing instructions for producing dangerous drugs, possessing anything for use in the commission of crime and possessing drug utensils.

He was issued with a notice to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on November 5.

Paramedics were called to Goombungee-Meringandan Road at 11:35pm on Saturday after a vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree.

A woman was treated for a shoulder injury and transported in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital.

A two-vehicle crash was reported on Glastonbury and Jeremy roads at Widgee Crossing South at 8:35am on Monday.

Paramedics transported one patient to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition with back injuries.

Paramedics have transported one patient in a stable condition to St Vincent’s Hospital in Toowoomba after a vehicle hit a tree on the New England Highway just past Crows Nest on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called at 3:43pm.
