There was a happy mix of bowlers and non-bowlers testing their skills at last year’s Autism Bowls Challenge at the Kingaroy Bowls Club

September 18, 2019

A special lawns bowls day has been scheduled this Sunday (September 22) in Kingaroy to raise funds for the South Burnett Autism Support Group.

Both bowlers and non-bowlers are welcome for the fun day planned at the Kingaroy Bowls Club in Youngman Street.

The day will begin at noon with lunch prepared by Bushie’s Burgers.

Play will get under way at 1:00pm.

At 4:00pm, there’ll be the drawing of raffles and social drinks.

All team or player nominations must be registered by 11:00am. Single nominations will be put into a team.

Teams are $20 per head, which includes bowling, lunch and nibblies.

If you’d like lunch but don’t want to play bowls, hamburgers are $10 each (or $5 for children under 12).

NB. Only flat-soled shoes, socks or bare feet can be worn on the greens.
