The Burnett Mary Regional Group has $50,000 in funding available to support local community groups implement capacity-building.
A maximum of $2500 available for each eligible organisation, including conservation management and catchment groups, Traditional Owner groups, Landcare and Coastcare groups and producer groups with an annual turnover not exceeding $500,000.
Activity costs could include:
- Funding assistance towards regional events or workshops
- Operational needs eg. vehicle registration and insurance costs
- Meeting costs, other than attendance fees;
- Training courses for members such as grant writing, and
- Communication activities (eg. website hosting costs, promotional material production).
Applications must be made using the BMRG Regional Community Grants Program application form.
