A small group of people turned up to a meeting organised this week to discuss the formation of a Kingaroy Neighbourhood Watch group.
Kingaroy Police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney said the group discussed what it would entail.
The idea was for the group to have fewer formal meetings and run more as online group, making the best use of social media.
The main job would be to take over the running of the Kingaroy Neighbourhood Watch Facebook page, ie. post information about activities and moderate comments.
The meeting was held at Kingaroy Police Station on Wednesday night to identify suitable people who could form a committee to establish and run the group.
