Man Faces 65 Drug Charges

A 42-year-old Kingaroy man was due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Tuesday to face 65 drug-related charges, including trafficking, producing and supplying.

The charges follow police searches of a residence in Albert Street, Kingaroy, on August 5 and August 7 which allegedly located drugs and other items.

Police will allege the man had been supplying drugs between July 6 and August 4.

The man was arrested on Monday after forensic analysis of the seized property.

He has been charged with:

  • 60┬ácounts of supplying a dangerous drug
  • Trafficking a dangerous drug
  • Producing a dangerous drug
  • Possessing a dangerous drug
  • Possessing drug utensils, and
  • Possessing property used in the commission of a drug-related offence.
