A truck driver escaped injury when his rig flipped on its side and hit a tree on the Burnett Highway north of Nanango on Tuesday night.
The vehicle, which was carrying molasses, spilled part of its load on the roadway near Rickett Road at Johnstown (near Wyalla).
A QAS spokesperson said a man in his 50s was assessed at the scene but was not hurt.
He declined transport to hospital.
The incident occurred about 8:00pm.
Traffic on the highway was reduced to one lane as the truck was righted and the roadway cleared.

The incident created a response on social media, with some commenters lamenting that cattle could have been called in to help clean up the mess:
Truck carrying molasses has spilt its load on the Burnett Highway, Johnstown. We’ve called for reinforcements but we’re not sure we have enough pikelets to cover it. #stickysituation avoid if you can! 🥞🥞🥞🥞
