Animal health company Virbac will updating cattle producers on their products at a Parasite Management Roadshow to be held in Kingaroy next week.

Cattle producer Don McConnel and veterinarian and Virbac Australia technical services manager Dr Matt Ball will share their expertise on tick and worm management and drenching practices with local producers.

Don runs ‘Mt Brisbane’, a 4500ha Droughtmaster breeding and fattening operation in the Brisbane Valley.

“Our Kingaroy presentation will cover the latest local findings, examine the tick lifecycle and highlight best practice use of drenching products for tick and worming control,” he said.

“We’re really looking forward to sharing our knowledge and helping producers to take the necessary steps to safeguard their livestock.”

The roadshow will be held from 10:00am to noon (after morning tea at 9:30am) on August 7 at the Pioneer Lodge Motel.
