Memorial Club on Sunday

Nanango RSL Sub-Branch will be hosting a special afternoon tea on Sunday (August 4) for servicemen and women and their partners.
The get-together will be held from 2:00pm at the Nanango RSL Club.
“We’ve been looking forward to this moment for a long time,” Sub-Branch president Robert Stevens said.
“A lot of our volunteer committee’s time has recently been spent preserving our history and infrastructure.
“We are pleased, that in the second half of the year we will be spending on bringing our members together, starting with an afternoon tea for serving and ex-servicemen and women.
“The Sub-Branch has been looking for ways for us all to get together, with no expectations, except to be alongside like-minded men and women.”
The Sub-Branch is a charity that supports serving or former Australian Defence Force personnel and their dependents.
“Our Sub-Branch and the Citizen’s Auxiliary work tirelessly to raise funds to support our charity and hold activities like these,” Mr Stevens said.
“We are looking forward to this being an event that we regularly hold.”
