A 25-year-old Murgon man will face a string a charges after police allegedly spotted him driving dangerously on Cherbourg Road.
The incident occurred about 6:30pm on July 10.
Police intercepted the vehicle and as a result of further inquiries, the man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 20 charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, unlicensed driving and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.

Traffic
- July 5 – A 44-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 30 charged with drink-driving after police stopped his vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Wondai about 7:30am.
- July 6 – A 21-year-old Inala woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 30 charged with drink-driving and unlicensed driving after police intercepted her vehicle on Borcherts Hill Road, Murgon, about 12:30am.
- July 8 – A 29-year-old Goomeri man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on September 3 charged with drug-driving after police stopped his vehicle about 11:00am on the Bunya Highway at Murgon.
- July 8 – A 47-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 6 charged with unlicensed driving after police stopped a vehicle on Cherbourg Road, Cherbourg, about 12:30pm.
- July 10 – A 63-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 30 charged with drink-driving after police stopped a vehicle in Gore Street, Murgon, about 1:30pm.
- July 11 – A 44-year-old Wondai man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 30 charged with unlicensed driving, and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle after police stopped a vehicle on Coronation Drive at Murgon about 12:50pm.
- July 18 – A 24-year-old Wondai man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 6 charged with drink-driving after police stopped his vehicle in Mackenzie Street, Wondai, about 7:40pm.

Property
- A 12-year-old boy will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justic Act after a string of wheelie bin fires in Cherbourg on July 18-19. The incidents occurred in Barber Street and Baramabah Avenue.
- July 13 – About 5:00am, a man allegedly damaged a door at a residence in Broadway Street, Cherbourg. A 27-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Cherbourg Magistrates Court on July 24 charged with wilful damage.
Investigations are continuing into a number of other incidents:
- July 6 – About 8:15am, a thief stole multiple items from packets at a business in Lamb Street, Murgon.
- July 6 – Between 1:00pm and 9:30pm, thieves damaged a door to break in to a house in Lamb Street, Murgon, before stealing personal items.
- July 6 – About 10:30pm, a would-be thief was disturbed by a resident after they broke into a property on Boat Mountain Road, Murgon. The offender gained entry through an unsecured window by removing a screen.
- July 9 – Between 4:45pm and 5:30pm, a door was kicked in at a home in Black Street, Murgon. The unknown offender then damaged property before departing.
- July 12 – Between 7:00pm and 7:15pm, multiple windows were smashed on a parked police vehicle in Barber Street, Cherbourg.
- July 14 – About 7:00pm, rocks were thrown at a vehicle in Broadway Street, Cherbourg, smashing a window.
- July 17 – About 3:15pm, rocks were thrown at a residence in Barber Street, Cherbourg, damaging multiple windows.

Drugs
- July 9 – About 7:30am, police searched a house in Barambah Avenue, Cherbourg. A 52-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Cherbourg Magistrates Court on July 24, charged with possessing dangerous drugs and drug utensils.
- July 9 – About 6:50pm, police were conducting inquiries at an address in Broadway Street, Cherbourg. when they allegedly located drugs and drug items. A 25-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 6 charged with possessing dangerous drugs, drug utensils, and property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.
- July 11 – About 9:00pm, police stopped a vehicle on Stephens Street, Murgon. A 53-year-old Deep Creek man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 30 charged with possessing dangerous drugs.
- July 18 – About 11:20pm, police spoke to a boy in Gore Street, Murgon. A subsequent search allegedly located dangerous drugs. A 16-year-old Murgon boy will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
- July 19 – About 12:50pm, police stopped and searched a man in Macalister Street, Murgon. A 25-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 6 charged with possessing drug utensils.

Police from Murgon, Cherbourg and Wondai responded to a variety of incidents between July 5-19 including drug, traffic and property offences. They also attended 30 calls related to domestic violence, issued 50 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 1170 roadside breath tests.
