Parents and prospective students took the opportunity on Saturday to take a look around the campus at St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy.

They were greeted at the school entrance by principal Angela Myles, other staff members and senior students who led them around the buildings in small groups.

Younger children enjoyed the free face-painting, while parents could help themselves at the sausage sizzle, run by the P&F Association.

In the E-learning area, programmable Spheros robots, which are used by primary school students as part of their STEM activities, were on display.

Mrs Myles said the next Open Day at the school will be this Thursday (June 6) when the focus will be on Prep.

Parents and would-be preppies have been invited to visit the Prep Open Morning from 9:00am to 10:30am to have a look around, play and see what the area is like.
