Real estate agent David Taylor has written to clients to tell them that his business, Kingaroy Real Estate, will close on May 31.
The agency, at 160 Haly Street, suffered a blow in November last year when David’s father, Kevin, died unexpectedly at age 74.
David and Kevin had been working together for many years, including developing plans for the proposed Kingaroy North development.
In his letter to clients, David said sales agent Debbie Dennien, who has been working at the business, would be continuing to sell property in the region.
