A 41-year-old Kingaroy man convicted of multiple child sex offences was sentenced to 15 years’ jail in the District Court in Brisbane on Friday.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was convicted of maintaining a relationship with his step-daughter as well as multiple rapes and assault.
The court heard the man raped the girl, who is now aged 19, thousands of times between 2010 and 2016 in the family home in Kingaroy.
She fell pregnant to him at age 15, and ran away from home a year later with her child in a bid to escape the abuse.
Judge Richards ordered that the man be eligible for parole in September 2030.
