A 21-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Esk-Hampton Road at Redbank Creek, near Esk, on Tuesday morning.
A police spokesperson said the man’s vehicle appeared to have been travelling towards Esk when it ran off the road and hit a tree.
The driver, believed to be from Toowoomba, died at the scene.
Esk-Hampton Road was closed for several hours as police investigated the crash.
Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam footage to contact Police Link on 13-14-44.
