South Burnett residents have been invited to nominate mobile phone black spots to their local Federal MP.
Round 5 of the Federal Government’s Mobile Black Spot Program application process is now open.
Up to $80 million in funding has been allocated to be spent under this round.
Like previous rounds, Round 5 encourages the mobile industry and State and Local governments to work together to address mobile black spots across regional and remote Australia.
Mobile phone operators have until July 26 to submit their proposals.
A total of $760 million was invested under the first four rounds of the program to deliver 1047 new base stations across Australia.
Another $80 million has already been allocated for Round 6 of the program.
