Round 2 of the Darling Downs AFL competition brought no joy to the South Burnett Saints who travelled to Highfields on Saturday to take on the Lions.
The home side was ahead at every break, and drew away in the last quarter to record a 17.11-113 to 8.10-58 victory.
South Burnett goals were kicked by Michael Bailey (2), Daniel Trace, Owen Ellison, Alexander Taylor, Nathan Trace, Jarryd Hill and Keegan Wright.
Next week, the team will be facing the South Toowoomba Bombers.

The Saints’ junior footy program for children who took part in the Auskick program is due to begin at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy on May 10 and will run until June 28.
Games will be played on Friday nights from 6:00pm.

The Saints are also looking for women eager to join their ranks.
Women’s training is every Tuesday and Thursday night at Lyle Vidler Oval from 5:45pm to about 7:00pm.
All fitness levels, ages and experience are welcome to come along and have a go.
