The Wondai Wolves chalked up their first win of the season – in fact, their first A Grade win since June 2017 – by downing Kingaroy in the wet last Saturday.

Building on their good showing in Round 1,  the Wolves toughed it out against a strong Red Ants’ side to record a last-minute 28-22 victory at Cherbourg.

Other Wondai tries were scored by Thomas McDowell, Merton Bulmer and David Simpson. Danny Alberts kicked four conversions.
