A woman is recovering in a Brisbane hospital after she was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash at Kaimkillenbun on Tuesday afternoon.

The woman’s car is believed to run off the Dalby-Cooyar Road about 4:30pm, hitting a tree.

Ambulance paramedics initially treated the patient, aged in her 30s, and transported her to Dalby Hospital where she was transferred to an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.

She was then flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition, under the care of LifeFlight’s critical care doctor and flight paramedic.

The woman suffered serious injuries to her legs, pelvis, abdomen and arms.
