A 20-year-old Nanango man was due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Tuesday after police seized drugs and a replica pistol from a property on Kingaroy-Burrandowan Road on Monday.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said police went to the property at 6:00am in relation to another matter.

They conducted an emergent search during which they will allegedly located weapons, including a replica firearm, jewellery, drug utensils, amphetamines and subutex (an opioid drug).

The man will face three counts of a contravention of a domestic violence order, two counts of possession of dangerous drugs plus a single charge of assault occasioning bodily harm.

He was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, ammunition, property used in connection with a drug offence and a drug utensil; three counts of disqualified driving, two counts of driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, one count of failing to remain at a traffic crash, and failing to appear in court.
