About 400 Ergon Energy customers in the East Nanango area lost power on Wednesday afternoon after a short storm whipped through parts of the South Burnett.
Power went off about 3:45pm in areas around Mount Stanley Road, East Nanango Road and Brights Road.
Ergon crews located the damage, believed to have been caused by a lightning strike, and made emergency repairs.
All power was restored by about 8:45pm.

About 30 properties in Kingaroy had their water supply turned off from about 10:30pm on Wednesday after a pipe burst in River Road.
A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said the split pipe was located under a concrete driveway.
Council crews worked through the night to repair the damage.
Water supplies were restored to houses in River Road and Youngman Street about 5:00am.
