South Burnett Regional Council advised on Monday that it will be changing the opening hours of Wondai’s Col Morris Library, effective immediately.
From now on, the library will be open Mondays to Fridays from 8:30am to 4:30pm, closing for lunch between 1:00pm and 2:00pm.
A Council spokesperson said the operating hours have been altered to bring the library’s opening hours into line with other Customer Service Centres.

Council also advised that its water main replacement program in Kingaroy is expected to be completed by the end of March.
The replacements are part of the Council’s routine maintenance program.
The replacement program, which centres on Haly Street and nearby streets, began on February 28 and is expected to be completed by March 29.
“During the commissioning there will be water released into the drains which may impact the road due to the flushing process,” a Council spokesperson said.
“This may affect the section of Haly Street between Windsor Circle and Bridget Carroll Road.”
