Police were patrolling Murgon streets on Monday afternoon in a bid to locate a teenager who has escaped from custody.
The 17-year-old youth is believed to have escaped about 3:00pm from Murgon Children’s Court.
Police say he does not pose a threat to the community.
A police media spokesperson confirmed at 5:50pm that patrols were still looking for the youth.
