South Burnett Regional Council began work on Tuesday to replace water mains in Hart Street and surrounds at Blackbutt.
A Council spokesperson said the work was expected to be completed by about March 29.
“It is expected that the water supply will be isolated on or around April 1 to allow the new water main to be cut in,” the spokesperson said.
“Council will notify residents closer to the date of this cut in time.
“We apologise for any inconvenience that this work may cause and thank you in advance for your patience.”
