Firefighters will patrol the site of a fast-moving grass fire which burned dangerously close to a house at Glan Devon on Thursday afternoon.
The fire broke out just after 1:00pm near Chappell Road.
The blaze destroyed a car and water tank and singed at least one shed but firefighters successfully protected the home, stopping the flames just metres from the structure.
Seven rural and urban fire crews were called to the incident.
The fire was under control by 3:30pm.
