About 6300 Ergon Energy customers in an area stretching from Booubyjan to Boondooma lost power on Wednesday morning due to fallen powerlines.
Residents in Murgon, Cherbourg and Proston were also affected by the outage.
The power was cut just after 5:30am when powerlines fell in Kawl Kawl Road near Mondure.
Most customers were quickly reconnected but all power was restored by 9:50am.
