Kingaroy Police are seeking help from local businesses to update their records.

Over the past two months, visits have been made to Kingaroy businesses, organisations and associations so the police station’s register of after-hours keyholders could be updated.

The register helps police to make a speedy and accurate response to incidents.

“If you have not yet completed the form that was supplied, would you please do so, then drop it into the Kingaroy Police Station or fax it back to (07) 4162-5014 as soon as possible,” volunteer-in-policing Rosalie Winter said.

“If you were away at the time of the visit, please contact the station on (07) 4160-4900 to arrange completion of the form.”

Brochures containing more information about business security and property identification are available at Kingaroy Police Station.

Kingaroy Police are hosting their first ever Coffee with a Cop next week.

Coffee with a Cop is a great way to have a chat with your local police over a cup of coffee.

There are no agendas or speeches, just a chance for you to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know your local police.

The Coffee with a Cop will be held on Wednesday, December 12, from 10:00am to 11:30am at Muffin Break at Kingaroy Shoppingworld.
