A trial has begun in Brisbane of a Nanango man accused of murdering his housemate three years ago.

Bruce Flynn, 60, was found unconscious at his home in Old Esk Road, Nanango, on September 11, 2015.

He was taken to Kingaroy Hospital where he died a short time later.

William Arthur Feeney, 56, was later charged with Mr Flynn’s murder.

He has pleaded not guilty.

Crown Prosecutor Dzenita Balic said it would be alleged Mr Feeney had argued with Mr Flynn over money on the day he died.

The trial continues.
