The Coolabunia Saleyards have been closed to the public in the wake of Thursday’s wild storm.
South Burnett Regional Council said the the facility had suffered “significant damage”.
A Council statement said the Coolabunia yards would be closed until further notice.
It advised the next closest clearance and holding facility was located at the Murgon Saleyards.
“Council will provide further detail regarding the reopening of the Coolabunia Saleyard as it comes to hand,” the statement concluded.
