Blackbutt District Community Organisation (BDCO) held its inaugural Putt-a-Putt event at the Blackbutt Golf Club on Sunday.

Golfers consisted of nine teams of four who had a fun-filled day and every team walked away with prizes.

There were about 60 people at the event with prizes of cash and vouchers to a value of $1200 up for grabs.

Blackbutt Golf Club members were stationed at the various holes and also drove the teams around the golf course to the putting greens as well as providing refreshments and a hamburger lunch.

Cr Gavin Jones, BDCO president Brenda Proctor and vice-president Nev Lawrence awarded the prizes during lunch.
