A 16-year-old youth appeared in Kingaroy Children’s Court on September 19 to face charges linked to a break-in at a Brooklands house.

The house, on Kingaroy-Cooyar-Road, was broken into at some time between September 14-17.

During the incident a large quantity of jewellery, money and clothing was stolen.

On September 18, police attended an address on Raymond Road, Tarong, and located items from the break-in.

A dog allegedly stolen from a vehicle parked in Railway Lane at Nanango managed to make its own escape and finds its way back to its owner.

The maltese cross was allegedly taken by a 63-year-old man on September 17.

Inquiries are continuing.

Thieves have stolen items from Neumgna belonging to Stanwell Corporation.

A backpack splatter gun, Stihl whipper snipper and a variety of hand tools were stolen between September 1-17.

Thieves have stolen a spare tyre from a Holden Crewman parked in Bunker Avenue, Nanango.

The incident occurred between September 17-18,

On Thursday, the occupants of a house on Old Yarraman Road, Nanango, were woken up about 11:30pm when suspect/s opened the rear sliding door to their house.

The occupant called out which caused the suspect/s to run away.
