Two adults have been arrested and charged with wilful damage after Kingaroy police received a complaint about two people being inside a public toilet for a few hours.

The incident, at a toilet block in Avoca Street, occurred last Monday (September 17) morning.

Police entered the toilets and found a 38-year-old Kingaroy man and a 21-year-old Kingaroy woman inside.

There was also a considerable amount of graffiti on the internal walls.

The pair will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 8.

Three people have been charged with various offences after police pulled over a Mitsubishi sedan in Doonkuna Street, Kingaroy, at 1:20am last Monday.

  • A 47-year old Kingaroy woman will face charges of unlicensed driving, possessing a drug utensil and possessing property used in the commission of a drug offence
  • A 21-year-old Kingaroy woman will face a charge of possessing a drug utensil
  • 39-year-old Wondai man will face charges of possessing a dangerous drug (amphetamines) and possessing property suspected of being used in the commission of a drug offence

All three will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 8.

Two men have been charged after Kingaroy Police stopped a Holden sedan in Alice Street at 11:50pm last Monday.

A search of the vehicle allegedly located amphetamines, cannabis, restricted drugs, drug utensils and a knife.

A 27-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with three counts of dug possession, unlawful possession of restricted drugs, two counts of possession of property suspected of being used in commission of a drug offence, possession of a drug utensil and unlawful possession of a knife.

A 30-year-old Kingaroy man, a passenger in the vehicle, has been charged with possessing a credit card knife.

On Wednesday, police spoke to two men in Gabbee Street, Kingaroy.

A search of a 22-year-old Memerambi man allegedly located a drug utensil and a push knife.

While talking to this man, police found a further drug utensil that had been hidden behind a parked vehicle.

The second man, aged 19, allegedly told police it belonged to him.

The two men will both appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 22.

At  some time over the weekend, unknown persons damaged a Colorbond fence at a Haly Street, Kingaroy, residence.

Investigations are continuing.

A 39-year-old Wondai man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 5 charged with drug driving after police stopped his Nissan sedan on the Bunya Highway on Wednesday at 5:00pm.

The man allegedly returned a positive result to a Roadside Drug Test.

Kingaroy Police responded to a variety of incidents between September 17-23 including drug offences, traffic offences and property offences.

Police also attended three calls related to domestic violence incidents, issued 26 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 196 RBTs.
