South Burnett Regional Council announced the successful applicants for Round 1 of its 2018-19 Community Grants program at its monthly meeting on Wednesday.
The funding round closed on August 31.
Communities portfolio chair Cr Danita Potter said the Council had received 54 applications seeking a total of $105,117.17.
It approved 41 for $65,640.88.
This was about $7000 more than a year ago, when Council received 50 applications requesting a total of $125,952.88, and approved 39 for $58,449.55.

Round 2 will be held in February 2019.
