About 400 Ergon Energy customers in the Memerambi, Gordonbrook, Durong, Proston and Boondooma areas lost power on Tuesday morning after a power pole was damaged by fire.
The pole collapsed, bringing down wires and affecting customers drawing power from the Kingaroy to Boondooma line from 9:22am.
By 1:30pm, Ergon crews had restored power to about 300 customers.
An Ergon Energy spokesman said the full restoration of power was not expected until about 7:00pm once crews have been able to gain safe access to replace the pole.
