Kingaroy Police are investigating the theft of a white Toyota Hilux 4WD trayback stolen from a carport in Ferne Road, Kingaroy.

The vehicle was taken at some point between Friday and Sunday.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney said the offenders gained entry to the house by forcing a toilet window.

Once inside, they searched through the house stealing a TV and vehicle keys.

The offenders then took the Hilux – registration number 912-SNV – from the carport.

On August 20, police had reason to speak with an 18-year-old Kingaroy man in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 2:25am.

A search of the man allegedly located a small quantity of drugs.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 19 charged with drug possession.

On Friday at 11:10am, police spoke to a 40-year-old Kingaroy man on King Street, Kingaroy.

A search of the man allegedly found a knife, a syringe and non-prescribed medication.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 4 charged with possessing a dangerous drug, unlawful possession of a knife and failing to dispose of a syringe.

A 28-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 8 charged with drug driving after police stopped her Mitsubishi sedan in Kingaroy Street on August 22.

She allegedly returned a positive roadside drug test.

On Sunday, police pulled over a 41-year-old Murgon man driving a Holden sedan on Alford Street, Kingaroy, at 1:50pm.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 22, charged with drug driving and driving whilst disqualified. His vehicle was immobilised for 90 days.

At 8:00pm on Sunday, police intercepted a 49-year-old Kingaroy man driving a Holden utility on Harris Road, Kingaroy. He allegedly recorded a positive breath test of .081 BAC. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 17.

Kingaroy Police responded to a variety of incidents between August 20-26 including drug, traffic and property related matters. Police also attended nine calls related to domestic violence incidents, issued 25 infringements notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 189 RBTs.
