South Burnett Regional Council announced on Wednesday that Council libraries will now provide members with free access to more than 30,000 films.
The libraries have signed up to the popular on-demand film streaming service Kanopy.
Movies available through Kanopy include popular films, world cinema, documentaries, classic movies, pop culture, courses, Australian movies and many others.
Library card holders can access Kanopy and sign up to start streaming films instantly by visiting the Kanopy website.
Films can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV or Chromecast.
Membership of Council’s libraries is free and open to all residents.
