An 18-year-old Cherbourg man has been charged with attempted armed robbery following an incident at Ryke Fuel in Kingaroy on August 12.
Police arrested the man on Thursday.
He will also face two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle following the theft of a Ford Fiesta from Murgon which was allegedly used during the Ryke incident.
Police later recovered this vehicle near the Cherbourg Cemetery.
The man has also been charged over a break-and-enter at Murgon, stealing a charity tin from Ryke Fuel, wilful damage of a window and freezer at Ryke Fuel, and with a break-in at the Fitzroy Hotel.
He is expected to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Tuesday (August 21).
Police inquiries are continuing to locate a second man recorded on CCTV at Ryke Fuel.
