There are four new police constables on the beat in the Murgon area.

They are Constable Aaron Hartwell, from Cairns; Constable Amber Marsh, Beaudesert; Constable Graham Lochrie, from the Sunshine Coast and Constable Ellen Meagher, from Kingaroy.

Officer-in-Charge of Murgon Police, Senior Sergeant Lance Guteridge, said areas such as Murgon provided a fantastic learning opportunity for police.

“With the diverse nature of our area, officers are exposed to many new experiences,” he said.

“They gain valuable skills in policing and generally become very well-equipped police officers.

“I look forward to having them as part of our valued team.”
