A Murgon woman suffered an arm injury after four intruders forced their way into her house in Perkins Street on Sunday evening.

One of the males allegedly threatened the woman with a tomahawk before stealing a set of keys.

Officer-in-charge of Murgon Police, Senior Sergeant Lance Guteridge,  said that when the keys didn’t fit the women’s vehicle, the four fled the scene.

The woman was taken by ambulance to Murgon Hospital for treatment.

A Holden Commodore sedan, believed to have been stolen from the Fraser Coast area, was involved in a single-vehicle crash on the corner of Barambah Avenue and Broadway Street in Cherbourg in the early hours of Monday morning.

No one was injured in the crash which occurred about 4:00am.

A Kia sedan, also believed to have been stolen from the Fraser Coast region, was also located in Cherbourg.

Police are investigating the theft of a Nissan X-Trail SUV  from Cadell Street in Wondai about 9:15pm on Tuesday.

Police have charged a 15-year-old boy over the theft of a Toyota Aurion sedan, allegedly stolen from Wondai just after midnight on Tuesday morning.

The vehicle was recovered in Cherbourg after police deployed tyre spikes to stop the vehicle.

Murgon Police are seeking to interview another person in relation to the incident.
