A 17-year-old female driver allegedly kicked a Kingaroy policewoman who pulled her over for a random breath test on Thursday night.

Acting Senior Sergeant Brent Gerber, from Kingaroy Police, said the driver was pulled over at 8:30pm for the RBT.

She allegedly blew 0.129 BAC.

The driver then allegedly became violent and kicked the police officer.

She was taken into custody and transported to Kingaroy Watchhouse.

The teenager was bailed to appear in Kingaroy Children’s Court on June 22 charged with drink-driving, serious assault of a police officer and obstructing police.

A 28-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 16 charged with failing to dispose of a syringe.

He was stopped by police in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 6:00pm on Friday.

Police have charged two people with drug offences after they searched a house in Harris Road, Kingaroy, on Tuesday.

A 23-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman have been charged with possessing cannabis and possessing drug utensils.

They are due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 4.
