RACQ LifeFlight airlifted a woman, aged in her 40s, after she fell from a horse near Gayndah on Sunday evening.

The aeromedical crew was despatched to the incident scene just after 6:00pm.

The woman was stabilised before being flown to Bundaberg Hospital.

The helicopter service also airlifted another patient from Gayndah Hospital on Saturday evening.

A man, aged in his 20s, was airlifted after he was injured in a football tackle.

He was also transported in a stable condition to Bundaberg Hospital.
