The Wondai Race Club will be holding its traditional Anzac Day Race Meeting at the Wondai Racecourse in Baynes Street, Wondai on Wednesday, April 25.
The meeting is the 45th Anzac Day meeting held at the course, and proceeds will go to aid Legacy.
As usual, it will feature an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar.
The traditional Fashions On The Field competition will have a “Poppies and Pearls” theme, and guests who dress to it can be in the running for prizes.
Gates will open at the track at 11:00am and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:45pm.
This year’s Anzac Day race meeting will feature five races and is being sponsored by BZE Murgon, the Wondai Hotel and Cellar, Wondai Real Estate, Lilivale Stud, the Wondai RSL Sub Branch and the Wondai Diggers Club.
